About VCI2000

VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor), also known as corrosion vapor inhibitors, is a type of corrosion inhibitor used to protect ferrous and non-ferrous metals from corrosion or oxidation when surface treatment is inadequate. VCI anti-corrosion materials slowly release (evaporate) chemical compounds in sealed packaging, which actively prevents surface corrosion of articles.VCI packaging is usually used to protect shipped and/or stored items, where as packaging are used boxes, bags or containers. The main advantage of the VCI is that the inhibitor level is maintained, even when packaging is being opened and closed.
